Business Situation

To streamline factory operations in a mass-customization factory, our customer needed to replace factory staff's standard PCs with rugged machines to enable the user on the line to ensure that each and every order was built to the correct specifications.

Solution

The customer removed their existing hardware and deployed the rugged iX104 Tablet PC. This allowed the factory staff to retrieve detailed drawings and plans anywhere on the production line to review and verify customer orders, and managers and customers to monitor the real-time status of their orders.
